Look at how much they have grown in one

Foal Raising Philosophy
Our foals are handled from the day that they are born.
After mare and foal bond, we begin to touch the foals all over
to accustom them to having their bodies handled by people which
is referred to as foal imprinting. Fortunately all of our
mares are quite good mothers who are not disturbed by our
presence in the stall with the newborn foal. Daily as the
foals grow, they are led in and out of the barn with halter and
lead, learning to walk beside their mother. We spend
undemanding time with them while they are turned out, giving
each lots of one on one attention, which, of course, includes
lots of scratching in all of their itchy places. They
learn to accept being brushed, have their feet picked up, ears
and face handled, along with how to stand quietly and respect
the space of the person handling them. We want our foals
to be well used to the human world by the time they are weaned,
when we will begin to build upon what they have already learned.
