Epiphanybay Independence, known as Penny,
is an independent spirit. From the first day, she was out
exploring her surroundings and showed little concern about her
mother's whereabouts except when she was hungry. Penny
seeks out human attention for scratches and pats, as well as,
wanting to be in the middle of what is going on. She is a
curious and confident filly.
At two months of age, Penny
weighs in at 310 pounds. An increase of 105 pounds in the
last month. She grew 1 3/4 inch to stand at 11.2 3/4
hands. Her bone measurement, just below her knee, has
increased by 1/2 inch to 7 inches.
At three months of age, Penny
weighs in at 365 pounds, an increase of 55 pounds.
She grew 2 3/4 inches to stand at 12.1 1/2 hands. Her bone
measurement increased by 1/4 inch to 7.25 inches.
At four months of age, Penny
weighs in at 441 pounds, an increase of 76 pounds. She
stands at 12.3 hands with her bone measurement at 7.5 inches.
At five months of age, Penny
weighs in at 487 pounds, an increase of 46 pounds. Her
height and bone measurements remained the same. She now
weighs the same as the other two fillies, as each weighed in at
487 pounds this month.
Well, having missed several
months, Penny stands 13.3 hands at 10 months of age.
Certainly not a small girl by any means, yet she remains the
most petite of the two purebred fillies.
