Purebred Cleveland Bay mare, Belladonna Mahogany at Dressage at Devon 2007

BellaDonna Mahogany, is by the CBHS Licensed stallion, IdleHour Yorktown, located in Pennsylvania, USA out of a Forest mare imported from the United Kingdom.  Mahogany has been shown  in the Purebred Cleveland Bay In-Hand Classes at Hunter Shows and In-Hand Classes at Dressage Shows, both as a yearling and a two year old. In the dressage shows her scores were in the 60th percentiles.  In the Hunter shows she always placed in the top three of the class.

In 2009, Mahogany was not shown as she was to be bred.  Unfortunately, the breeding did not take. Currently, Mahogany will be started under saddle with plans to breed her again 2010 for a 2011 foal.  At nearly three and one-half years of age, Mahogany stands at 15.2 hands, has 9.0 inches of bone and weighs 1100 pounds.

In 2010, Mahogany was bred by artificial insemination with frozen semen from a licensed purebred Cleveland Bay stallion, Borderfame Prince Charming.  The foal is expected in March 2011.

In 2011, Mahogany gave birth to a filly, Epiphanybay Spirit.  Unfortunately, the filly passed away at two days of age.  Mahogany is being bred by artificial insemination with frozen semen to the British Equestrian Federation Champion stallion, Future Illusion.

The top three photos are of Belladonna Mahogany at four years of age, 2010.
